The Nightmare Before Christmas was excellent

We always put time aside to watch the Nightmare Before Christmas, leading up to both for Halloween and Christmas. We sat down to watch it, but this time with a sing-along edition of the movie! This DVD is a sing-along edition, and has a digital redeem code as well. It includes deleted scenes, the making of the Nightmare Before Christmas, and an audio commentary.
We all sat down, including my daughter, son, and husband to watch this incredible movie. We loved the deleted scenes, the audio commentary with both Tim Burton and Danny Elfman, and the other extras this DVD has! Anyone who loves The Nightmare Before Christmas needs to pick up this DVD, especially if you haven’t watched it yet, you’ll be in love with the characters the moment it begins to play.

Hocus Pocus Anniversary Edition Makes Me Love The Movie Even More

We’ve spend every year, leading up to Halloween, watching Hocus Pocus. In our home, this is a must see flick, every year. So, recently, we sat down to watch, but this time, it’s the anniversary edition. There’s more on this Blu Ray than just the movie. There’s Trivia and Treats Edition, there’s Original 1993 Production Featurette, and there’s even a digital copy included.
My daughter, age 21, and I, along with my 7 year old, son, and husband, sat down and watched. The Trivia and Treats Edition is excellent; with all the deleted scenes, fun facts and trivia, and more. This is the Anniversary Edition, so they had to do something special, and they did. You really need to go get this Blu Ray. We will watch Hocus Pocus another 25 times, before Halloween. It’s my favorite movie, for the season.

But first they must outwit three feisty kids determined to foil their scheme! Filled with bewitching laughs and magic, this hilarious film is perfect for the whole family!|Producer David Kirschner came up with the idea for the movie one night while he and his young daughter were sitting outside and his neighbor’s black cat strayed by. Kirschner began to unspool a narrative of how the cat was once a boy who was changed into a feline 300 years ago by three witches.|Actress Kathy Najimy described her character Mary as “Eddie Haskell as a witch,” referring to the character on the classic TV series “Leave It To Beaver.” “She sucks up to Winifred [Bette Midler’s character] every chance she gets. She wants to be part of the power club and Winifred’s got the power.”|To create the costumes, designer Mary Vogt read many historical books about Salem, Massachusetts. “I even read diaries of women who were hanged as witches,” she says.
We love Bette Midler, in anything she plays in, so this is so great. I also love Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in this fun Halloween flick. You don’t want to miss it. Even if you’ve already seen it, watch it again, and if you haven’t seen it, watch it for the first time. I remember watching in 93, and watching every year since. Bring it home, and you can watch it any time.
